My Mother Ethel Minnie Brown was at the orphanage from the 1920"s until 1938. Some of her siblings were placed their also.Kate,olga. William, Jimmy,& mildred,their may have been others? If anyone has some answers I would appreciate hearing from you. She came from the Minneapolis area.Her Birthday is 8/23/1919. She married Jens J. Jepson when she was about 16 yrs. old.Her health is declining now, She never recieved answers to why they were placed in the owatonna Orphanage.
