I was one of the group that went from Owatonna to the Jean Martin Brown receiving Home in St. Paul. I was one of the two oldest in the group at age 15. I had come back from a farm in Blooming Prarie, Mn and in Cottage 8 when they decided to close it. So packed us and our clothes into a couple of cars and off we went to St. Paul to a much smaller Orphange, I think at the time we were about 40 to 45 of us that were moved. |
