My Grandpa, Clifford Cowing, grew up there, and went on to work his lifetime there as a Carpenter/Maintenance. He "lost touch" with many of his siblings when they were brought there by his father- my Dad was his only child. Thus, not many relatives were found for Grandpa or Dad- I wonder if there are any other Cowing's out there? PS- I kept the Cowing maiden name when I got married- my Dad only had 2 girls! |
